CAS Friendly Techiques: Overlays

Overlays are definitely a quick and easy way to add a little bit of WOW to a card. There are several amazing ones available for purchase. Of course, if you have a bit of vellum or acetate and a decent permanent ink, you can go ahead and make your own.
For my card, I did the flowers and leaves on the vanilla base. Then I attached the vellum (tape hidden under the ribbon) and stamped the daisy prints and the sentiment. In case you were curious, Memento inks dry almost instantly on the vellum. It's quite nice. This card also fits Laurie's challenge at SCS (got vellum?)

Thanks for sharing CAS friendly techniques. I find CAS cards the hardest to make. It's nice to have helpful tips!

Thanks for all your lovely CAS FTLs. I really enjoy working with them and seeing what other people do with them too.
