FTL120 Birthday Wishes
I really wanted to use a snowflake in this sketch like Natasha did, but I don't need any more Christmas cards this year (in fact, I still have 8 left that I didn't need for sending out) and I know that if I make more Christmas cards now, I will be disappointed next year that I don't need to make Christmas cards.
Or maybe I'd be thanking myself for thinking ahead and creating a stash!
At any rate, I decided to go with a big orange flower ... my friend is turning 40 on Saturday and her favourite colour is orange... and this is her birthday card...
Such a fun sketch to play with.... the colours could be more subtle (like Natasha) or more vibrant and headache causing (like mine) LOL!
I hope you'll have fun playing along!

FTL119 Always a Friend
I am so excited to be posting here as part of the "team"!! Thanks to Natasha for adding me, and to the other ladies for the warm welcome I received.
I have come to love clean and simple cards lately and it's mostly what I've been creating... I love that they can come together so quickly. For example, I made this one in about 20 minutes this morning!
My first thought when I saw the sketch was swirls and snowflakes in shades of blue... but last weekend I pumped out a record number of Christmas cards and I think I have more than enough for this year... so I changed gears and went with swirls and flowers.
Items Used:
*Cardstock: Stampin' Up! Whisper White, Pear Pizazz
*Images: Inkadinkadoo Dot Flourishes; unknown sentiment
*Ink: Stampin Up! Pear Pizazz; VersaFine Onyx Black
*Embellishments: Michael's Bridal Flowers (coloured with Poppy Parade ink); Stampin' Up! ribbon; Kaiser Pearls

119!
Hello!
Here's this week's sketch:
Here's my take on it. I was apparently feeling a bit earthy- I went with brown, kraft and white tones. Feel free to use a non-silhouette image, that's just what I was in the mood for!
