FTL55 - Happy for You

Happy Sunday! This is what I came up with using the Fall-to Layout #55 from Friday. I stamped one of the damask border strips from PTI's Damask Designs a few times in white ink, then layered it onto Shimmer White CS. I wrapped a piece of Plum Pudding ribbon around the back of the panel before adding a Filligree brad and attaching it to the card base. To finish up, I stamped the largest damask image in Bermuda Bay onto Shimmer White, then added the sentiment and layered it onto Basic Black. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! :)

Supplies: Stamps - Damask Designs, Vintage Picnic Basket Sentiments Ink - Stazon Black, Bermuda Bay, Fresh Snow Paper - Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Shimmer White Miscellaneous - Filligree Brad, Plum Pudding Grosgrain Ribbon

FTL#55 Friend

Other than cutting out the flower, this was a very quick card to make. I wanted the background to be light and airy so I didn't color in the flowers. I also didn't worry about masking the flowers - I like them overlapping like they are. All the products I used are PaperTrey except for the Making Memories brad and the marker I used to color in the flower center on the sentiment panel. Supplies: Stamps - PaperTrey Friends Til the End, Ink - Versafine Onyz Black, PaperTrey Snowy White; Paper - PaperTrey; Misc - Making Memories Brad, Copic marker

Fall To Layout #55

Good evening!
Here's this week's sketch. I'm sure I've done something similar before, but I have a slight requirement for this one. The idea of the sketch is to have the bottom panel featuring some DIY stamped paper and the sentiment panel featuring a coordinating image.
Some measurements:
  • 3-7/8x4-1/4 Stamped Paper
  • 3-1/8x2-1/16 Sentiment Panel

Supplies: Stamps: In Bloom, Vintage Picnic Ink: Ripe Avocado, Dark Chocolate Paper: Kraft, Rustic Cream, Ripe Avocado, Spring Moss Accessories, etc.: Copics, pop dots, twill, button, thread

FTL54

Just a different take on FTL54! The umbrella is stamped in summer sunrise with orange stickles on the flower centers. It's hard to see in the pic, but I pierced along the inside of the kraft layer about 1/2".
Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies:
stamps - Scattered Showers
paper - lemon tart, kraft, olive, white
ink - summer sunrise, black
acc - orange stickles, dimensional, piercer

Ten Minute Monday 08/10/09

Hello!
I've got a quick card for you today (imagine that!). I thought it'd be fun to use all the new In Colors on one card. I started with stamped flowers in a mostly random fashion. I used Soft Suede for the centers and the greeting and Kiwi Kiss for the leaves. I'm impressed with how well the 6 colours work together. Kiwi Kiss just happens to fit nicely into the mix too.
Supplies:
Stamps: Floral Frenzy, Birthday Basics, Polka Dot Basics
Ink: Curry, Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Dusty Durango, Kiwi Kiss, Soft Suede
Paper: Melon Mambo, White, Bermuda Bay
