FTL80 - I Appreciate Your Kindness

Hi everyone! Hope your Monday is off to a great start! :) This is what I came up with using Friday's Fall-to Layout #80.  Natasha originally designed the sketch to be 4" x 6", but my card was created with a standard A2 kraft card base.  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day! :)

Instructions:
  • Create A2 card base using kraft CS.
  • Cut 3" x 5 1/2" piece of patterned paper and adhere to card base, then use corner chomp to round upper right corner.
  • Punch scallop edge from brown CS and adhere to card base.
  • Stamp flower stem in brown ink onto cream CS, and round upper right corner.
  • Stamp two flower images onto cream CS with aqua ink, cut out, and adhere to flower stem.
  • Attach image to card base with pop dots, stamp sentiment in brown ink, and embellish flower center with rhinestone.

Supplies:
Stamps - Bloom & Polka Dot Blooms (There She Goes Stamps)
Ink - Dark Chocolate, Aqua Mist
Paper - Kraft, Dark Chocolate, My Mind's Eye "Lush"
Miscellaneous - Deco Scallop Punch, Corner Chomp

Layout #80

Hello! Here's this week's sketch. I've designed it to be 4x6. For dimensions:
  • The patterned piece is 6x3
  • The solid strip is 6x1
  • The main image panel is 3-1/4x2-1/2
  • The main image mat is 3-3/8x2-5/8
  • Supplies: Stamps: Sprinkled with Love (Taylored Expressions)
  • Ink: Rich Cocoa
  • Paper: Loves Me DSP, white, dark chocolate, creamy caramel
  • Accessories, etc.: corner rounder, pop dots, glaze, copics
If you play along, feel free to leave a link!

FTL80 Enjoy

I have to admit that this sketch stumped me for a while - but I love what I ended up with.  I find it challenging to use patterned paper and still create a CAS card.  I used Memory Box patterned paper and Ripe Avocado paper from PaperTrey.  I used Scarlet Jewel ink and SU! Old Olive marker on the Penny Black stamp and stamped it onto cream card stock.  I sponged some Scarlet Jewel ink to tone down the cream color.
Supplies: Stamps - Penny Black; Ink - PaperTrey Scarlet Jewel; Paper - PaperTrey, Memory Box; Misc - SU! marker, sponge
