Time for another sketch! Even though it finally feels like summer here, I thought an autumn themed project would be fun. Feel free to turn the "leaves" on the sketch into any image element, but try to keep the placement similar.

Some proportions:
- Card: 3.5x6
- Vanilla panel: 3.5x 2.5
- Chocolate Mat 3.5x2-5/8
- Scallops are 5/8 at the widest part

As always, if you play along, please leave a link in this post's comments!
Supplies:
Stamps: Recollections Fall stamps, Stampin' Up! Greeting
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Memory Makers Autumn Frenzy Collection, Cream cardstock, Chocolate Chip
Accessories, etc.: Pop Dots, embossed scallop punch
LOVE the card- and super excited to see the embossed scallop punch put to work tonight- I just came home from Michael's with that punch and I'm so glad!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! This sketch stopped me in my tracks. What a great design, and your card is simply lovely. That border punch is so pretty. I'm seeing snowflakes in my future...*wink*
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I subscribed to your blog, I love the layouts - everything is so clean and doesn't look so cluttered.
ReplyDeleteOne question: Do you think ist would be possible to make clean looking vintage cards or is that just not possible? I would love to start making Christmas cards, perhaps using my cuttlebug as well... but I need to mass product, so it shouldn't be too complicated and I love vintage things as well...
Thanks for reading all this

Great sketch, Natasha. And I love your card, too. Very "fall" and makes me think of pumpkins and cooler weather. My card for this sketch turned out rather "spring." http://showandtellblog.typepad.com/show-and-tell/2009/09/happy-day.html
