209

Happy Friday!

I decided to take things at an angle for once. I have a very hard time straying from right angles, so this was a bit of a challenge, but also a lot of fun! For reference, I made my paper strips about 3/4 of an inch. I left them each at 6 inches long and then adhered them to the card base and trimmed afterwards.

Here's my card!

Supplies:
Stamps: Big and Bold Wishes (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: Dark Chocolate
Paper: Stampin Up! DSP (Woodlands I think??), Wild Wasabi
Accessories, etc.: Wild Wasabi Saddle-stitched grosgrain.

As always, if you play along, please leave a link. Thanks and have a great week!

208!

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you're ready for another sketch!

Here it is.

For my sentiment panel I started with a 1 inch panel, and added layers that looked right to me with the circles I had chosen. This sketch is supposed to be all about the circle background. So dig into your stash, find some circle stamp images, some patterned paper, or make your own collage of punched out circles.

I was in the mood for jewel toned blues and silver, so that's what I went with.

Supplies:
Stamps: Inside and Out: Birthday, Round and Round
Paper: White, Enchanted Evening, Silver, Spring Rain
Ink: Enchanted Evening
Accessories, etc.: Silver Rhinestones

If you play along, please leave a link to your project! Thanks!

FTL207 Happy Birthday

Here is my take on FTL207.  The rose is a 3 step stamped image from Kitchen Sink Stamps and the sentiment is from PTI Faux Ribbon set.  I embossed the three green panels with a Cuttlebug embossing folder for extra texture.  The rose was cut out and popped up with foam squares.

207!

Good morning!
I hope you're ready for this week's sketch!

Some dimensions for you...
Since 5-1/2 doesn't really divide by 3 terribly nicely, I "cheated' and made my 3 panels different sizes. The middle panel is 2-1/2x 1-7/8. The top and bottom panels are both 2-1/2x1-3/4. The card is the standard 4-1/4x5-1/2.

Here's my card!

Supplies:

  • Stamps: Insightful Meadow (Unity Stamps designed by Donna Downey), Garden of Life (PTI)
  • Ink: Versamark, Spring Moss
  • Paper: White, Old Olive, Simply Chartreuse, Spring Moss
  • Accessories, etc.: White embossing powder
