121

Good morning!
First off a bit of housekeeping, this will be the last sketch posted until the new year. It's a busy time of year around here and it gets tough trying to squeeze in creative time throughout the holidays. FTL122 will be posted in about 3 weeks time, around January 7th.
Now, on to the sketch! This one is ultra simple. I tend to look at layouts like this and I just feel content. There's something very relaxing about keeping a layout very low-key.
And here's my take on the sketch. I had a few thinner scraps lying around from Christmas cardmaking, so I made use of a few!
Supplies:
  • Stamps: Patterned Pines (Stampin' Up!), Holidays Treats (Papertrey Ink)
  • Cardstock: Ripe Avocado, Pure Poppy, Dark Chocolate, White
  • Ink: Ripe Avocado Rich Cocoa
  • Accessories, etc. : Scallop Die (Medium), Limitless Layers 1-3/4 circle
As always, feel free to leave your link below!

FTL120 Hearts and Flowers

It was nice to make a non holiday card!!  I hope you enjoy this springy creation!
Supplies: Stamps - Mark's Finest Papers Hearts, Hearts, Hearts; paper - PaperTrey, Making Memories English Garden; Ink - Versafine Onyx Black; Misc - Memento markers, Ribbon, Foam Squares.

FTL120 Birthday Wishes

I really wanted to use a snowflake in this sketch like Natasha did, but I don't need any more Christmas cards this year (in fact, I still have 8 left that I didn't need for sending out) and I know that if I make more Christmas cards now, I will be disappointed next year that I don't need to make Christmas cards.

Or maybe I'd be thanking myself for thinking ahead and creating a stash!

At any rate, I decided to go with a big orange flower ...  my friend is turning 40 on Saturday and her favourite colour is orange... and this is her birthday card...

Such a fun sketch to play with....  the colours could be more subtle (like Natasha) or more vibrant and headache causing (like mine) LOL!

I hope you'll have fun playing along!

120!

Good evening! Here's this week's sketch, bright and early!
I made use of some more older holiday product. I used the colours in this patterned paper (sorry the name is totally escaping me right now!) as my inspiration. So my palette ended up being Sahara Sand, Taken with Teak, and White, and Red.
Supplies:
  • Stamps: Inside and Out: Holiday (Papertrey Ink)
  • Paper: Sahara Sand, White, Taken with Teal
  • Ink: Real Red
  • Accessories, etc: Teal satin ribbon, felt snowflakes, rhinestone
