FTL 64!

This week's sketch is similar to some I've done in the past, but I thought it'd be good to share anyway! If you're wanting some measurements: The outer main panel is 3-3/8x4-7/8. I thought this would be another fun layout for using up some of that patterned paper. It's become somewhat of a goal of mine, using it up! Supplies: Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Vintage Picnic Ink:Rich Cocoa Paper: White, Bermuda Bay, Thoroughly Modern Accessories, etc.: brad, tag die cut, ribbon, copics

10 Minute Monday on Tuesday

I created this card for the SCS color challenge today and for a class assignment in the Great Card Design Class that I am taking online with Julie Ebersole. I had saved the negative cut from my Cuttlebug Buttrfly die cut so I used that as a mask. I sponged on Taken with Teal and Apricot Appeal and then stamped the silhouettes with Chocolate Chip. The sentiment is from Verve's Abundant Blessings as is the cattail silhouette. The dragonfly is from PaperTrey's Pond Life. Supplies: Stamps - PaperTrey, Verve; Ink - SU! Taken with Teal, Apricot Appeal, Chocolate Chip; Paper - PaperTrey; Misc - sponge, mask

The flowers are from GinaK A Year of Flowers, the leaves are from Stampendous Floral Garden and the sentiment is from Amuse. I stamped on PaperTrey Vanilla Cream and matted the panels with PTI Dark Chocolate. The card base is SU! Crushed Curry and the button is from my stash (and a perfect match!). Supplies: Stamps - GinaK, Stampendous, Amuse; Ink - SU! Old Olive, Chocolate Chip; Paper - SU! Crushed Curry, PaperTrey Dark Chocolate, Vanilla Cream; Misc - SU! Crushed Curry and Choclate Chip markers, button.

FTL 63

Today's sketch was inspired by a card I made over a year ago. It somehow resurfaced earlier this week, and I thought "hmm, I like that design". I know the card was made for a Kristina Werner Colour Challenge, I don't recall if I ever posted it to this blog.

Here's my card: Very basic! Feel free to use more of that hoarded designer paper or to stamp out your own pattern! If you happen to use this stamp set, remember it's usually easier to stamp the solid image first and go over top with the detailed outline! I was reminded of that as I pieced together a few more of this card design the other night!

Supplies: Stamps: Garden of Life, Birthday Basics Ink: So Saffron, Old Olive, Bravo Burgundy, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip Paper: So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Old Olive Accessories, etc.: Tag die cut, brad
