FTL212 Happy Harvest
I used this FTL 212 for this week's SCS CAS192 challenge - Harvest theme. The papers are from MME. The images, sentiment and dies are from PaperTrey. I paper pieced the pumpkins and used a Copic marker to color in the stems and leaves.

212!
Happy Friday! I hope you're ready for another sketch. Just a reminder that the contest is still open for last week's WCMD event (see the post just below this one!) Anyway... onto the sketch! I rarely use angles, but I thought it'd be fun to incorporate a few. I don't have any measurements for you. I believe I made each panel about an inch wide. I left them longer than the 4.25 card width, attached them, and then trimmed each panel to fit.
I drew the sketch from memory of the card seen below. Apparently I reversed it, oh well! You get the idea. It's not as though we're that strict around here. If you feel inspired to create, then we're happy!
Supplies:
Stamps: Cupcake Collection, Polka Dot Basics II
Ink: Lavender Moon, Classic Kraft, Dark Chocolate, Snow White
Paper: Kraft, Melon Berry, Lemon Tart, White, Lavender Moon
Accessories, etc.: Button, Corner Rounder
If you play along, please leave a link to your project:

211 and more!!
Happy World Cardmaking Weekend! I realize the technical date is tomorrow, but I like to post the sketches on Friday. In honour of the event, we have an extra challenge and a few prizes!!
The first thing you'll notice is the slightly different format to the sketches. Sadly, life has gotten quite busy. This has left little time for digitizing the sketches. I've started to draw them out in a drawing program instead. By doing the sketches this way, I can do them much quicker! They may not be as pretty, but they are more reflective of how they look in my sketch books.
The bonus challenge is a colour challenge. To be eligible for a prize, we ask that you create a card using the sketch, the colour challenge, or both! As always leave a link at the end of the post. The contest will run for 2 weeks, until October 19th. After that time, at least 4 winners will be drawn.
First up, here are the sketch and the colour challenges:
Some colour guidelines:
If using Papertrey Ink colours, think New Leaf, Spring Moss, Dark Chocolate, and Aqua Mist
If using Stampin' Up! colours, think Wild Wasabi, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, and Pool Party
I've specifically excluded names on the graphic. There are so many awesome paper choices out there, I'm sure most companies will have something in those shades. Feel free to incorporate any neutral (grey, white, cream, black, kraft)
Here is my card:
What are the prizes?
We've got Botanical Silhouettes by Papertrey Ink, a new (old style) Stampin' Up! Daffodil Delight ink pad, assortment of 6x6 papers. We've also got Round and Round by Papertrey Ink. There will also be other assorted stamps and embossing folders (details to follow). I hope you can play along. And of course, to be eligible, please leave a link to your project!!

FTL 210 Birthday
I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with this sketch.... but I made an easy decision and grabbed out a 6X6 paper pad by Cosmo Cricket.... chose some patterns and voila...
A different colour combination/palette for me, but I think I like it!

FTL210 Happy Birthday
This is my take on FTL210. I used various patterned papers from the DCWV Linen Closet stack. I think this makes a great masculine card. I moved the sentiment a bit to the left to give the card some balance.
Supplies: Stamps - PaperTrey; Paper - PaperTrey, DCWV; Ink - PaperTrey Classic Kraft; Misc - PaperTrey Double Ended Banner Die, Foam Squares
