#206 with Flowers

And here we are... at least for us... the last evening before school starts for the 2012-2013 school year.  I don't know where the summer has gone!

It's time for the kids to go back to school and time for me to get serious about getting another job.  It's time.

I do hope to find a little time to get creative before I go back to work though LOL....

I had a tough time with this sketch, simply because I don't have stamps of a similar image in different sizes.  So then I thought I'd use die cuts... but I didn't have anything that went small enough.... so I pulled out my assortment of flowers and this is what I came up with...

Here's this week's sketch. I was itching to use my butterfly stamps again when I designed this one. Can you tell, haha!

And here's my card, I decided to use a bunch of highly neglected purple inks with the butterflies.

It's the last week of summer vacation for my boys.... one is starting high school next week and the other one is starting his last year of high school.... where has the time gone???   The weeks of summer have flown by, not to mention the years since my kids were little!

I wasn't sure about the sketch for this week..... but ended up playing with one of my new Memory Box dies and decided it would work!

I look forward to seeing what all of you create with this sketch!

FTL205 Happy Birthday!

Once I figured out what to do with this sketch this card literally took under 10 minutes to create.  I needed a birthday card and I will be submitting this card to the Cas-ual Friday 67 challenge:Flags or Banners.  The patterned paper is from MME Miss Caroline collection.  The banner die is from Sweet 'N Sassy stamps as is the sentiment.
