FTL169, Mehndi Christmas!

Good morning! What a wonderful sketch we have with so many possibilities this week! I was very excited to make this card and I'll have another one for you later with a fabulous tropical spin on it! There's Fresh Snow ink distressing on the edges of the Christmas tree image and Aqua Mist card stock, but it's hard to tell in the photograph. I also stamped tone-on-tone with the ink and card stock. The swirls on the image were colored with a silver glitter pen. I hope that you enjoy this and that it provides you with some inspiration. Thank you so much for visiting us and have a very blessed day!

FTL169 Special Christmas

Natasha's sketch reminded me of my WoodwareUSA set called  Patch Work Christmas.  This tree is an image from that set.  I paper pieced it, cut it out and attached it with foam squares.  Sentiment and holly leaves are from Christmas Labels.
Supplies: Stamps - WoodwareUSA; Paper - Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co.; Ink - Memento; Misc - Nestabilities, Foam Squares

169!

Good evening, this week has flown by, I can't believe it's already Thursday. I had the sketch already to go, all I needed was the card.
This one came together rather quickly. I wanted to use the "new" in colors, since I finally have them and I knew that I wanted to use a larger image, like an ornament or a tree. Sometimes all you need is the tiniest spring board to get the creative juices flowing.
Supplies:
Stamps: Vintage Ornament, Twinkle Background, Stylish Sentiments: Holiday
Ink: Fresh Snow, Pool Party, Island Indigo
Paper: White, Pool Party, Island Indigo
Accessories, etc.: Circle nestabilities
As always, feel free to leave a link to your project!
