FTL76 - So Sweet of You

This card was created using Friday's Fall-to Layout #76. The cupcake image was created by Heather Nichols for Papertrey Ink's 3rd birthday celebration. It originally had a candle on top, but it didn't look quite right extending outside my white square, so I trimmed it off and added a pink rhinestone in its place.

Have a great day! :)

Instructions:
  • Create A2 card base using teal cardstock.
  • Stamp sentiment in brown ink.
  • Attach pink ribbon to card base and tie knot.
  • Run a scrap piece of white cardstock through Cuttlebug and emboss with dots. Cut into four 1" square pieces.
  • Adhere squares to card base with pop dots.
  • Print digital image and trim off candle and plate. Adhere rhinestone.
  • Attach cupcake image to top right square.

Supplies:
Stamps - Signature Greetings, Cupcake image created by Heather Nichols
Ink - Dark Chocolate
Paper - Bermuda Bay, Stamper's Select White
Miscellaneous - Raspberry Fizz Grosgrain, Hot Pink Rhinestone, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder

Ten Minute Tuesday

Wishing you sunshine! Isn't that such a nice sentiment? I really love these flowers from Baby Button Bits, so I thought I'd use them with some stamped patterned paper. Of course because I didn't plan out this card whatsoever, it's a pretty odd size. 5-13/16x3-1/4. Oh well! In order to prevent the Copic coloured leaves from bleeding through, I mounted the white layer on a white card base. This card makes me want to stamp white polka dots onto all sorts of coloured cardstock. Supplies: Stamps: Blooming Button Bits, Baby Button Bits (Papertrey Ink) Ink: Memento Rose Bud, Bamboo Leaves, Papertrey Ink Fresh Snow Paper: White, Summer Sun Accessories, etc.: Pink Passion ribbon, corner rounder, 3/4 and 1/2 circle punch

FTL 76

This is a great sketch to use inchies.  I stamped the dotted heart image from PTI Sign Language on 3 Inchie squares and the happy valentines day heart from PTI Tiny Treats - Valentine set on a 4th Inchie square.  The squares are mounted with foam tape.

Supplies: Stampe - PaperTrey; Ink - SU! Real Red, Versafine Onyx Black; Paper - PaperTrey; Misc - Inchie Arts Inchies, Ribbon, Foam tape

FTL 76

Here's this week's sketch. I've done something a bit similar with the same visual elements. It's cool how moving something, like a group of 4 squares, can change the overall composition. If you're looking for measurements, I made my squares each 1 inch. I decided on making a little love card. I really like the brown with a pop of pink, it's fun! The colours are Soft Suede and Melon Mambo. Stamps are from Papertrey Ink (Heart Prints, Signature Greetings).
