FTL62 - Hello, Sunshine

Happy World Card Making Day! Hope your day has been a fun one! This is what I came up with using the most recent Fall-to Layout Sketch. I started with an Aqua Mist card base, then added a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of patterned paper. I scalloped a strip of Aqua Mist CS with my Fiskars Embossed Curve Punch after stamping it with Versamark ink polka dots. To finish up, I added some ribbon, stamped and punched out the sentiment, then added a couple rhinestones.

Supplies:

Stamps - Handwritten Notes, Polka Dot Basics 2

Ink - Versamark, Smokey Shadow

Paper - Aqua Mist, Vintage Cream, My Mind's Eye Ooh La La

Miscellaneous - Summer Sunrise Grosgrain Ribbon, Modern Label Punch, Light Aqua Rhinestones, Fiskars Embossed Curve Punch

Fall to Layout #62 Merry Christmas

Here is my sample for the FTL62 sketch. I used patterned papers from Making Memories Fa La La 8x8 pad. The ribbon is from American Crafts and the button is from PaperTrey. The sentiment is a Melissa Frances rub on. This is a very quick card to make! Supplies: Paper - PaperTrey Vintage Cream CS, Making Memories Fa La La; Misc - Melissa Frances Rub-on, American Crafts ribbon, paperTrey button, EK Success Border Punch

**By the way, the punch used to make the large scallops is called Embossed Scallops, it's by EK Success. I got mine at Michaels** I am actually organized this week and typing this Thursday night. I don't know why, but last week I was just short on time. I'm still in pretty much the same boat this week, but I have a cold, so I'm not doing anything else. Seems like a good time for card making right! And I intend to do a whole lot more this weekend. I have a list to make 16 birthday cards and a few upcoming DT projects.
Anyway, on to the sketch! This one was taken from my little book o'sketches. I'm thinking it was inspired by a Dawn McVey original, but I'm not certain.
I wanted showcase some of this fun holiday paper. I adhered the patterned paper to my card base, scalloped a bit of textured red paper, added a sentiment, and a bit of gold ribbon. Very quick and fun!
