FTL174 God is a Quilter

Good afternoon. Again, we have a wonderful sketch for you to have fun with that has endless possibilities. For my card, I stepped out of my box by changing up the size, using stamps and a marker for my background, a lot of die-cutting, and making my own embellishment spool. I love the theme that I have going on and hope that you do too. Thank you for stopping by to visit us today and we always enjoy visiting your blogs and your participation in our sketch challenge. Have a blessed day!

FTL174 Wonderful Friend

This is my take on the FTL174 sketch.  I decided to dry emboss the bottom of the card for the horizontal panel on the sketch because I liked all the white space.
Supplies: Stamps - Hero Arts; Paper - Mark's Finest Papers; Ink - Versafine Onyx Black; Misc - Craft Concepts Embossing Folder, EK Success Border punch; Heart Nestabilities, SU! Rose Red Marker, Foam Squares

174!

Good evening I hope you're ready for another sketch. I could see this one being a touch tricky, dimension-wise, so I've included the measurements below:
  • Card: 4-1/4x5-1/2
  • Word Panel: 2-1/2x4-1/8
  • Word Panel Mat: 2-5/8x4-1/4
  • Circle: 1-1/4
  • Patterned Paper: 4-1/4x2-1/4
Here's the sketch:
And here's my card. I went with another romance/Valentine themed card. I really love using kraft, brown, and red for romantic cards. I was making my card, based on memory of the sketch, and totally forgot about the scalloped border. It works without it, so consider that an option.
Supplies:
  • Stamps: Love and Marriage, Heart Prints
  • Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler
  • Paper: Soft Stone, Kraft, Cherry Cobbler, White, Ruby Red DSP
  • Accessories, etc: Brown ribbon, metal tag, 1-1/4 circle punch
If you play along, please leave a link to your project:
