Here's my sample for this week's combined challenge with CAS-ual Friday.  I clear embossed some script on the card base before adding the stamped panels.

I love how clean and simple this sketch is, although I will admit to being tempted to add another base layer with some texture....  but I resisted the urge!

Here is my take on the FTL153.  We're playing with CAS-ualFridays this week.  I was a bit stumped at first with the horizontal panel being under the image.  So I decided to attach the horizontal panel onto the vertical panel and then used the daisy border embossing folder over the panels.

A Special Casual Friday/FTL 153

So, August is a bit of a fun month here at the clean & simple stamping blog. There are SO many fabulous challenge blogs in the community, and several stampers have really embraced the clean and simple style. For the next few week's we'll be teaming up with several challenge blogs for double the fun each Friday!

This week, I'm pleased to announce that we're playing along with CAS-ual Fridays- a fun clean and simple themed challenge. Without further ado, here's this week's sketch:

I pulled out an old favorite- Petal Prints. It was nice to get reacquainted with it!

Paper: Pink Pirouette, Dark Chocolate, Vellum, Kraft

Accessories, etc.: Ribbon, White Embossing Powder

Measurements:

Standard Card- 4-1/4x5-1/2

Pink Layer and Vellum Overlay- 4-1/4x2-1/2 each

Brown Layer- 1-1/4x4-2-1/2
