FTL132 Happy Birthday

One more BD card for my stash!  I love this simple design and I pulled out one of my first ever acrylic stamps for this card - by Autumn Leaves.

I was worried I wouldn't get a chance to play in the challenge this week.  But thankfully these are great quick and easy cards and I was able to throw the card together when I found a few minutes to myself this weekend!

FTL 132

What a great, fun layout, one of my favorites! I am really trying to use up some of my patterned paper, and this bit is from some Scenic Route I've had FOREVER.  Love these colors!

Supplies:

ink - chocolate chip, fresh snow

acc - new leaf ribbon

An Early 132!

Well, I was going to wait until Friday to post this, but I just finished my card and I wanted to share it right away. You know that mentality, right?

Here's the sketch.

You may recognize it if you have similar inspiration files to me-I really love this card by Maile Belles and I also can't wait to get my hands on her new stamp set, Modern Basics. In the mean time, I figured I'd use one of my modern style favorites, Dot Spot, to make a similar look. I also am posting early so I can enter my card into Heather's Totally Hues Challenge #3 before the deadline! The colours to use are Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist, Orange Zest, and Summer Sunrise. I found them just perfect for this blustery, snowy day!
