Good morning! Our sketch this week is nothing short of spectacular. I love Natasha's ingenuity when she designs our sketches and look forward to them every single week. The sketches are posted every Friday and I usually post my card the following Monday. My card today is fun with a lot of different embellishments and die-cuts while still keeping it clean and simple. I love the way that it turned out and hope that you do too. I layered my flowers using foam dots and adhered my leaf die-cut with glue dots. You all know how I love my dimension!

Technique: Die-cutting, heat embossing, ink distressing
Size: 5-1/2 x 4-1/4
1. Cut a piece of black card stock to A2 size so that the crease is on the left.
2. Cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock to 4 x 5-1/4 and adhere it to the black card stock.
3. Die-cut a piece of beige/black newsprint designer paper using the Edger's #4 die-cut collection so at it's widest point it measures 2-1/4 x 4-1/4 and adhere it to the very left of the card lined up with the crease.
4. Stamp on sentiment in the lower right corner using gray ink and heat emboss using clear powder.
5. Die-cut 3 various size flower shapes from Beautiful Blooms #1 onto yellow/cream polka dot card stock and lightly ink distress the edges with Vintage Cream and then rub the ink with your finger.
6. Die-cut the largest leaf shape from Turning a New Leaf onto light green/beige designer paper and lightly ink distress the edges with Vintage Cream and then rub the ink with your finger.
7. Build up the flower die-cuts with foam dots and place a wood circle flower shape in the middle and adhere a yellow pearl to the inside.
8. Put mini glue dots on the back of the leaf shape in various places and adhere to the card as shown.
9. Place sticky strip onto the back of the flower and adhere it to the card as shown with both the flowers and leaf stem centered at the peak of the Edger die-cut.
For the inside of the card, I cut another piece of Very Vanilla card stock to 5-1/4 x 4 and die-cut the 4" right side with the Edger #4 die-cut. I stamped a scripture from Beautiful Blessings using Mushroom ink and heat embossing it with clear embossing powder on the left side. I stamped the coordinating flower image from the die-cuts used on the front of the card with Harvest Gold ink at the right corner, stamped a flower on the inside with Simply Chartreuse ink, and stamped a small dot on the inside of the flower with Harvest Gold ink.
