Ninety Eight!

Good afternoon! This week's sketch is slightly more complex than last week. I'm keeping everything nice and linear though. I've provided some measurements because I know people can get frustrated when trying to make groups of squares fit together. The sketch has rectangles, but I ended up doing squares.
  • The background layer is 1.75x5.5.
  • The next strip is 1.75x5.
  • Each square is 1.5x1.5.
Hope that helps! Here's my card. The sketch is definitely inspired by the card on page 113 of the new Stampin' Up! Catalog. Supplies:
  • Stamps: Turning a New Leaf, Birthday Basics
  • Ink: Kiwi Kiss, So Saffron, Old Olive, Fresh Snow
  • Paper: So Saffron, Kraft, White, Tangerine Tango
If you play along, feel free to leave a link to your project:

FTL97 - Beautiful Day

Hi, everyone! Hope you're all having a wonderful Sunday... :) I created this card using the Fall-to Layout #97 that Natasha posted on Friday afternoon.  I kept the layout of the card true to the sketch, but ended up using a circle card as a base... I am so addicted to these little cards!

Supplies:
Stamps - Poppies (There She Goes)
Paper - Kraft, Stamper's Select White, Hawaiian Shores Bitty Dot
Ink - Memento Black, Copics, True Black
Miscellaneous - PTI Canvas Impression Plate, Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities, Stickles

Ninety-Seven!

Good afternoon! Here's this week's sketch, as I said last week, I made sure to go back to a horizontal orientation this week. Today's sketch is also really clean and simple. I know most of the I post sketches are, however this is even more so than usual. It essentially has 4 items on the card front. I decided to add some extras when making my card. First, I decided to use a textured card base instead of a smooth one. Second, I added buttons to each flower to make them more interesting. Third, I popped up the 2 biggest flowers to create a bit more depth. Never under-estimate the power of pop dots! Yesterday was Canada Day. It's sure nice to have a day off in the middle of the week. It's not so nice having to get ready for work at 6:30 after being at the festivities & fireworks until 12. We couldn't have had a better day, weather wise. It was a hot one! I know it's a long weekend for a lot you! I hope you all have a fabulous and safe holiday! If you happen to take part in the sketch, feel free to leave a link! Supplies: Stamps: Birthday Basics Ink: Rich Razzleberry Paper: Rich Razzleberry textured, Hawaii Papaya, Hello Sunshine, Thoroughly Modern DSP Accessories, etc.: buttons, pop dots, twine, flower dies
