FTL88 - Thanks

Hi, everyone! Hope you're enjoying your Saturday... It's a hot one here in suburbia, and with our AC not working, well, it makes for some fun times in the house! LOL

Just popping in to share the card I created using the Fall-to Layout #88 sketch posted on Friday. I used WPlus9's Woodgrain Silhouettes and Silhouettes Additions for the images on the card, and one of the Everyday Greetings by There She Goes for the sentiment.

Well, that's it for me today... Off to find a fan! :)

Instructions:
  • Create 4" x 5 1/2" turquoise card base.
  • Stamp flower image in green onto white CS and adhere to card base.
  • Stamp white woodgrain image onto black CS, layer w/red ribbon and adhere to card front.
  • Stamp sentiment in black ink and embellish flower centers with aqua rhinestones.
  • Add bow.

Supplies:
Stamps - Woodgrain Silhouettes & Woodgrain Silhouettes Additions (WPlus9), Everyday Greetings (There She Goes)
Paper - Hawaiian Shores, True Black, Stamper's Select White
Ink - True Black, Fresh Snow, Versamagic Tea Leaves
Miscellaneous - Aqua Rhinestones, Pure Poppy Satin Ribbon

Sketch 88

Hello! Here's this week's sketch. It's funny, I ended up struggling a bit with my card. The sketch looked great on paper, but it just wasn't coming together. I'm sharing my sample, since I didn't want to leave the post sample-less, but I am not thrilled with the card. I may take another stab at it later! I think I have a few ideas as to what I would change. I was just so hung up using vanilla and kiwi, since that was my ribbon choice. I think the design could more than just the 2 colours. Supplies: Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Birthday Basics Ink: Basic Gray, Kiwi Kiss Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Vintage Cream, DSP Accessories, etc.: Corner rounder, ribbon As always, if you participate, please leave a link!
