FTL 78 Sympathy Card

I made this card for one of our SCS stamper friends, Shannan Teubner, who lost her husband unexpectedly last weekend. I like this clean and uncluttered design for a sympathy card. The flower was stamped twice, one was cut out with a Nestability. I cut only the middle portion of the second image and popped it up with foam tape on the first image for dimension. I also stamped and cut out the leaf. I chose these colors for Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply 126- to use purple and green.
Supplies: Stamps - PaperTrey In Bloom, With Sympathy; Ink - Versamagic Chalk ink, SU! Sage Shadow; Paper - PaperTrey, Black Market; Misc - Corner rounder, Nestabilities, Foam Tape

Fall-to Layout 78

Here's this week's sketch.

Some measurements based on my version of the sketch:
Old Olive- 4-1/4x5-1/2

Chocolate Chip- 3-3/4x5

So Saffron- 3-5/8x4-7/8

Patterned Paper- 1x4-7/8

The little houses and matching paper from this year's Sale-a-bration are so cute. I just had to pair them together for the sketch! Stamps are from Good Neighbours and PTI's Board and Beams. If you play along, please leave a link below to your post!

FTL77 - Hope Your Day is Fabulous

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a great Monday! :)

This card was created using last Friday's Fall-to Layout #77. LOL, I must've changed my mind at least three times when deciding on what image to place in the lower right corner. Large flourish? No... Leafy flourish? No... Leafy stems? No... LOL, and I wonder why I can't whip cards out? :)

Have a great one!

Instructions:
  • Create 3 1/2" x 6" card base using white CS.
  • Cut 1 3/4" strip of patterned paper and adhere to card base.
  • Stamp pink leaf image and brown sentiment on card base.
  • Add ribbon and tie bow.
  • Embellish with rhinestones.

Supplies:
Stamps - Turning a New Leaf, Signature Greetings

FTL 77 Welcome Baby Bee

I just had to do another card with this sketch! This one uses PaperTrey's Baby Button Bits and Basic Grey Urban Prairie paper.  The ribbon is PaperTrey's Aqua Mist satin ribbon.
