FTL164 Holiday Greetings

Here's my take on the FTL164.  This will be going to the MD Anderson Cancer Center.  I embossed a frame to represent the layers of the sketch.  The poinsettias were cut with the Spellbinders Poinsettia die and then water colored with Memento ink and an aquabrush.

Good evening, here's this week's sketch!

And here's my take on it:

In honour of the frosty ice fog this morning, I went with a warm winter wishes type card. I just recently picked up these stamps from Wplus9, so I put them to work.

Card Dimensions:

• Card Base: 4-1/4x5-1/2
• First Layer (Scarlet Jewel): 4x5-1/4
• Second Layer (Real Red): 2-1/2x 3-1/4
• Third Layer (Pink Pirouette)- 2-3/8x3-1/8
• Sentiment Strip: 3/4x2-1/2

FTL163 Happy Birthday

Here is another card for this sketch.  I cut out the butterflies with a Butterfly Nestability and put 1" squares of each color on the back of the card front.  I was inspired by this card by Julie Ebersole.

I love this simple sketch!  I made this card for the HYCCT challenge on SCS and this card will be going to the MD Anderson Cancer Center - I am trying to do all of the challenges this month.
