FTL21- Sample

Here's my sample for this weekend's sketch. Even though I used a floral graphic on the sketch doesn't mean that the focus needs to be floral. I went with something still in the nature family- holly.

More Holiday Blitz

This is a layout that works really nicely with small repeated images- so it's perfect for a card featuring snowflakes. I know I've used this layout before, but it's just so easy! 10 Minute Monday

Well, maybe it should be 10 Minute Tuesday this time around! Also, you might be thinking this looks like more than a 10 minute card. Well, my trick was that the main image was already stamped and just lying in my scrap pile! All I had to add was a mat, ribbon, sentiment, button, and birds. So there you go, a tip to keep the holidays simple: go back through your scrap pile and use what you have already! Supplies: stamps - Season of Friendship paper - kraft, choc, ww ink - choc, baja breeze, real red acc - red gg, kiwi button, crochet thread

Ten Minute Monday!

Truthfully, this may have been more of an 11 or 12 minute card. However, that's only because I decided to add a bow instead of a knot, and also because I kept changing my colour combination. After that was settled, it came together quickly. I didn't do any complex shading on the presents, that sped things up. I also didn't cut them out amazingly precisely. They're close, but I left a white edge around them to quicken things.
