Happy Friday!
Here's this week's look back to sketch #14
I made two cards for it, mainly because I figured I should use the full circle of patterned paper I had decided on. Really, how often do your go back through your paper scrap stash looking for half a circle...

Lots of pretty flowers nice and bright and summery just like the weather outside today!!! Hope you enjoy! I look forward to seeing what you create!!!

FTL12- Take Two
Happy Friday!
This is one of my favourite sketches because it is so simple and versatile! So much so that I ended up making two!
Here's my first card. I was in the mood for some watercolour. So I used Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, and Fired Brick for the background. The flowers were stamped with Memento Ink and then I coloured them with Copic colours. I did a bit of fussy cutting and attached it over the watercoloured background. The flower came from Clearly Besotted. The sentiment is one form Papertrey Ink.
For this next card, I did some more Copic colouring. I stamped the background using Soft Sky, Baja Breeze, and Lost Lagoon, and then stamped, coloured, and cut out the coffee cup. The dots are from a Mama Elephant set. The coffee cup is from a Simon Says Stamp set.

FTL10-Take Two
This was supposed to be a scheduled post for May 1st, but that didn't work as planned! It's all written up, so here it is! Here's this week's look back to sketch #10! The take two of sketch #11 will still be posted this Friday, May 8.
Once again, I wanted to make sure that I used something different than the image I originally included on the sketch. At first I tried to use stars in place of the flowers, but it just wasn't working out. I decided to move on and went with these delightful starbursts from the Shakers & Sprinkles stamp set. The sentiment comes from the Sparkle & Shine stamp set. You can't see it in the photo, but I clear embossed the word Shine, for well, some extra shine!
Supplies:
Stamps: Shakers & Sprinkles, Sparkle & Shine
Ink: Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise
Paper: Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Harvest Gold, White
Accessories, etc.: Satin ribbon, starburst embossing folder
