Good evening, I realize it's Thursday night, but I just finished up my layout card, so I figured I'd do the post early. I was pretty excited that my PTI order came today. I had planned to make a card using this layout with the Gladiolus stamp set for a birthday I'll be attending tomorrow. Here's the sketch. I made the main image panel 5x3.75. Supplies:
  • Stamps: Gladiolus, Birthday Basics
  • Ink: Tuxedo Black
  • Paper: White, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery
  • Accessories, etc.: Copics, Scallop die, stickles, pop dots, modern label punch

FTL104 Wishing You All the Best

I thought I'd try two different approaches to today's sketch.  This first one is a one layer, all stamping and no patterned papers.  I scored several lines across the top to create that top panel of the sketch and used the lacy pearl ribbon to create the middle panel with the sentiment.
And here is one with patterned papers and only a stamped sentiment.  I thought if I put the bird on the ribbon this card could be used for male or female.  The patterned paper is from DCWV Linen Closet.  The bluish lines in the plaid are actually sparkly but you can't see that in the photo. I used my Bird Nesties from Spellbinders for the bird and the wing is actually a leaf from a Sizzlet die.
Supplies: Stamps - PaperTrey; Ink - Card#1 Versafine Onyx Black, SU! Old Olive, Card#2 PaperTrey Ocean Tides; Paper - PaperTrey, DCWV linen Closet; Misc - Card#1 Scor-pal, Lacy pearl ribbon, Water color pencil, Aquabrush, Copic marker, Card#2 Spellbinder Bird Nesties, Sizzlet leaf die, Ribbon, Half back pearl, EK Success border punch, Foam Squares, Glue Dots

Good morning everyone! Ready for another sketch? Here it is: You can leave all the layers as solid cardstocks, or feel free to throw in some designer paper, or maybe some self-stamped patterned paper! Here's my take on the sketch! I decided it'd be fun to make some stamped patterned paper using some of my favorite images and inks. Supplies:
  • Stamps: Beautiful Blooms, Birthday Basics
  • Ink: Colorbox: Moss Green, Peacock, Magenta, Brown PTI: Fresh Snow
  • Paper: Rose Red, Baja Breeze, Kraft, White
  • Accessories, etc.: Kiwi Kiss ribbon

FTL102 Happy Birthday

Here is my one layer card for FTL102.
Supplies: Stamps - Making Memories, PaperTrey (sentiment(; Paper - PaperTrey; Ink - PaperTrey Pure Poppy, Summer Sunrise, Hawaiian Shores, Memento Pear Tart, Versafine Onyx Black; Misc - MS Butterfly punch, Half back pearls, Glue Dots

Good morning! Ready for another sketch! I'm keeping things quite simple this week, the sketch can easily be made into a one layer card (plus embellishments). I guess mine is technically a 2-layer card, since I've got some extra cardstock on the white base. I look at this card and want to make several more just like it, using other colours of paper and buttons! Supplies:
  • Stamps: Big & Bold Wishes
  • Ink: Versafine Onyx
  • Paper: White, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Old Olive
  • Embellishments: Buttons
