FTL49 - Thinking of You

Hi everyone! I can't begin to tell you how excited I am that I was asked to be a contributor for the weekly sketches. :) I found my way to this awesome blog via Becky's blog 4 months ago, and have been hooked ever since. I *love* sketch challenges, but sometimes I find myself having to sit them out because I can't find a way to make them fit my style (LOL, whatever that is!)... I never feel that way with the sketches posted here every week. You can keep them CAS or you can dress them up a bit, and I love that!

Here is the sample I came up with using the Fall-to Layout #49 sketch. I stayed pretty true to the sketch that was provided, the only changes being that my strip of patterned paper is 1 1/4", and I didn't tie a bow with my ribbon.

Ten Minute Monday

Hello everyone!

I figured since I'd be home from work early, I would upload a later 10 minute Monday.

Here's my card, it's ultra simple, I don't think it requires any explanation, but if you have a question let me know :D

Supplies:

Stamps: Everyday Classics, Birthday Basics, Polka Dot Basics

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Fresh Snow,

Paper: Ridinghood Red, Dark Chocolate, White, Regal Rose

Accessories, etc.: Crystal effects, ribbon, pop dots

FTL 49-Sketch

Here's the sketch this week. I didn't get a chance to post it last night, I ended up being a bit busier than I expected! Here's my take on the card. Some dimensions:

• Patterned paper strip 1x4-1/4
• White image panel 2-3/8x3-1/8
• Card Size- basic 4-1/4x5-1/2

The card construction was very basic. I stamped the larger leaf on the main panel, stamped the smaller leaf on scrap white cardstock and cut it out and attached with a pop dot. Then I tied on the ribbon, attached the patterned paper and rub-on to the card base, then pieced the rest together.

FTL#49 One of a Kind

This is a birthday card for my BFF. I received this image from one of my stamping friends - I think these girls are so cute. I colored them with SU! markers and cut and embossed the image with my rectangle Nestabilities. All papers are PaperTrey as well as the ribbon and sentiment. The main image is from Stampingbella.
