FTL192 Congrats

This is a really quick and easy sketch and opened to a lot of possibilities!  I created this card for the SCS F4A118 challenge as well which is to use hot pink.  I cut the patterned paper with a PaperTrey flower die and stamped it with the flower image from the Friends Til The End set.  The center of the flower is embellished with Amuse Micro Twinklers.  Sentiment is from Inkadinkado.

192!

Good morning!
Here's this week's sketch.

I made my card a few week's back (as you may have guessed by the mother's day theme). I've had to do a bit more planning ahead than usual. I'm moving next week, so it's been quite the task sorting through all of my craft supplies. It's amazing what one accumulates! I'm definitely going to try my hardest not to hoard stuff in the new space, but we'll see how well I stick to that a few months down the road...

Anyway, in my cleaning spree, I found this Scenic Route paper (I think the line was Metropolis). I absolutely loved it for the colours, so I decided to build a fun flower for my mom.

Supplies:
Paper: Metropolis (discontinued- Scenic Route), Kraft
Ink: Black Onyx
Stamps: Women of Life (PTI)
Accessories, etc.: Notched flower die, button, twine

FTL191 Thanks

My take on FTL191.  I like the look of the negative die space filled in with the die cut in another color, which is what I did here.
Supplies: Stamps - Amuse (sentiment); Paper - Mark's Finest Papers, PaperTrey; Ink - Memento; Misc - Memory Box Poppy Die, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, MS 3D Daisy Sticker

191!

Good morning!

Here's this week's sketch.

I don't normally do this, but I had all my card elements ready and set to follow the sketch to a tee, but then it just looked better flipped, so that's what I did. Even I break my own rules sometimes!

I was playing around the hexagons in Rosie Posie and enjoyed this particular colour combination (New Leaf, Orange Zest, Harvest Gold, and Black). I thought I'd also double the use of this card, and enter it into the Gallery Idol contest. The theme is encouragement, and I know quite a few people that this week especially could use some encouraging.

Supplies:
Stamps: Simply You, Rosie Posie
Ink: Black Onyx, New Leaf, Harvest Gold, Orange Zest
Paper: White, Basic Black, Orange Zest, New Leaf
Accessories, etc.: Circle Punches, Double Ended Banner Die

FTL190 Primrose Petals

Hi everybody. You might as well get used to me saying at the beginning of every post how great our sketch was this week, and I think you'll agree!

I made my card using all Stampin' Up! product because I wanted to really play with the new In Colors. The Summer Starfruit honestly looked like a dirty diaper to me at first (sorry, that was the only was I could describe it), but it's a yellow-green. Imagine a lighter Kiwi Kiss and darker Certainly Celery. I'm still on the fence about this one. I love the Primrose Petals and the Gumball Green is a nice green. It's bold and mellow at the same time.

Here is my card for this wonderful sketch and I hope that you enjoy it. Have a great evening.

Stamp Sets: Button Buddies, Curly Cute
Card Stock: Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit, Very Vanilla
Classic/Craft Stampin' Ink Pads/Vintage Ink Spot: Primose Petals, Summer Starfruit
Basic Jewels: Rhinestone
Punch: 1/2" Circle
Edgelits, Framelits, Sizzlits: Apothecary Accents
Tools: Big Shot, Heat Tool, Score Simply
Dry Embossing (Folder/Texturz Plate(s): Framed Tulips
Heat Embossing (Stampin' Emboss Powder): Clear
Technique(s): Die-cutting, dry embossing, fussy cutting, scoring
Size: 5-1/2 x 4-1/4

FTL189 Thinking & Wishing

Hi everybody! I hope that you loved this sketch as much as I did. For a clean and simple card, I used a lot of product on this, like 4 stamp sets, 2 impression plates, 2 die-cuts, and 7 ink colors! They say the definition of clean and simple is a lot of white space. That is not true. You can still make a beautiful clean and simple card using other colors and a focal point. This card happens to have 2, but that's what the sketch called for, and I even left out a layer per the sketch. It was really hard for me to photograph the Fine Linen so I hope that you can see beyond that. The base of the card has dry embossing on it as well as the flowers. I think it just adds a certain elegant element to the card and I hope that you do too. I really love learning how to and creating my own designer paper with stamps.
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit us today. Many blessings to you and have a wonderful day!

Stamps: Flower Fusion #7, Framed Out #1, Framed Out #2, Strawberry Patch (Papertrey Ink)

Button: Summer Sunrise Vintage Button Collection (Papertrey Ink)
Twine: Rustic Jute Button Twine (Papertrey Ink)

Dry Embossing Impression Plates: Vineyard, Wrought Iron (Papertrey Ink)
Machine(s)/Tool(s): Big Shot (Stampin' Up!)

#189

I'm sorry I haven't been around much....  I just haven't had the Mojo lately.  I feel pressure (from myself) to create when I'm at home, but the more pressure I feel, the less I create.  It's a terrible circle.

But I had some extra time handed to me today and I decided to play a little... and I managed to create two cards....  and I like them both!

Here is my take on the sketch for this week!

189!
